This premium quality Cushionfall Woodchip Safety Surface conforms to COSSH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) regulations and is completely plant, animal and environmentally friendly. Tested in accordance with BS EN1177.
Colour: Blue As seen on Better Homes with Carol Voderman on ITV.
A dried wood fibre product, low maintenance and cleaner than bark is used extensively in playgrounds throughout the U.K. by local authorities and schools. An excellent all-weather surface as it drains so well that children can start playing almost immediately after it stops raining and does not freeze.
The soft and firm texture made from 100% recycled timber means wheelchair users and falls are accomodated for as the wood fibres knit together to form a compact soft mat.
A layer thickness of 10cm would provide a critical fall height of 2.9m. A layer thickness of 20cm would provide a critical fall height of 3.6m.
Delivered in 55 polythene bags on a pallet (4 cubic metres) which will have to be unloaded by recipient. This item is a kerb side delivery only. Actual colour may differ slightly to that shown.
How much Cushionfall do I need?
To calculate the amount you need simply measure the area you require covering:
Example: 5m x 8m = 40 square metres.
Then multiply this number by the required depth (10cm is common for most playcentres and swings). 10cm is shown as 0.10 metres below.
Example: 40 x 0.10 = 4 cubic metres. This means a pallet of 55 bags will do the job. |
